My Home Land

 Dharapuram

 is my home Land in the distict Tirupur of Tamil Nadu,India.It spreads approximately over an area of 40 kilometers radius.It is situated on the banks of river Amaravathi. We are are mainly doing Agriculture .The main source of water is by River Amaravathi and PAP canal. Paddy is the main crop.Besides paddy  sugar cane,banana,millets, groundnut,onoin are grown in irigated areas and pulses in the rain fed areas.My town is a very good educational centre.
It is having lot Wind mills because it is straigt to Palghat gap.Wind flows for ten months in a year.

Apart from all our  town is very peaceful for retired living mainly without pollution to leadhappy and healthy life.It is with lot of pigrim centres like Temples , mosques & church to worship.The Lord Hanumandth is one amoung them.  Moringa ,Tomato,Brinjal,Chile,Beans,Beet root &onion vegetables are cultivated and exported to other parts of the county.Coconut is one of the main commercial widely cultivated.Besides Gloriosa suberbha  widely cultivated and its seed is exported.
